34. Little cooking, lots of eating
Wildly thrown-together salad, French omelette, and Greek food
Hello from my shambles of a newsletter. I’ve been trying to do some cooking; but to be frank, the photography potentials in this place is a bit of a let down. Hopefully, the recipes will suffice. Plus, I really loved the places I went out this past week to make up for the lack of content, of course.
Regardless, enjoy these newly arrangement of the old graphics and the rez’s…
Mixed greens with sausages and peppers
1 box of mixed greens or Romaine lettuce
1 onion, quartered
1 bell pepper, chopped
3-4 links of sausages, coined
Pre-made Italian dressing
Coat the onions, peppers and sausages in a light coat of olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Toss everything together and roast at 400 degrees F for about 10 mins.
Combine everything together, including the leafy greens, roasted stuff and Italian dressing. You can definitely add more stuff, like cheese and/or more vegetables, if you must. Enjoy!
A French omelette
I am definitely not an expert on making a French omelette, and so I am not one to give you the directions. However, I had a successful first couple of attempts making one of these bad boys last week. I can’t believe chives, butter and eggs could do so much.

Greek food and wine.
A nice little spot serving Greek shared plates located in the Rice village. We got a nice line up for dinner to share. Starting out with 2 bottles of wine— one sauv blanc and a cabernet? (I didn’t drink the red wine, sorry). We ordered grilled octopus and soutzoukakia (pork and lamb meatballs) for appetizer. Next, Helen wedge salad and smothered Greek fries for “hors d’oeuvre”. For plats, we definitely went a bit overboard here and ordered traditional pork gyro platter and a rack of lamb.
My favorites must be the grilled octopus and the rack of lamb. I definitely recommend getting these two dishes if you have a chance.

I thought I had eaten out more. Well, at least my bank statement made me think I did. More to come <3
Armchair expert podcast
by Dax Shepard
It’s my new favorite interview podcast of not only with impressive guests, but also great questionings. These are about 1h or so long, which are perfect for the drives. My favorite episodes have been with Brene Brown, Michael Shur and Roy Choy.
Peppermint teas
This is my new favorite thing because it actually helps everytime my stomach goes into shambles. Currently averaging about 3-4 bags per day.
Thanks for tuning in this week. Can’t wait to share more next time <3
